The 1/2" Compressed Air In-Line Moisture & Water Filter Trap F804 Compressor is built to improve air quality in compressed air systems by removing moisture, condensed water, and fine debris before they reach downstream tools and equipment. By filtering contaminants at the line, it helps reduce corrosion, protect pneumatic tools, and improve overall system reliability in everyday shop or mobile compressor use.
The unit features a durable clear polycarbonate bowl protected by a metal guard, allowing for quick visual inspection of accumulated moisture without needing to disassemble the unit. A built-in manual drain makes it easy to purge collected water during routine maintenance, helping keep airflow consistent and clean. Its compact footprint makes it a practical choice for tight installations on compressors, service trucks, trailers, or shop air lines.
With 1/2" NPT inlet and outlet connections, it integrates easily into standard air systems. It is rated for up to 145 PSI working pressure and supports a maximum flow capacity of 106 CFM, making it suitable for a wide range of pneumatic tools and moderate-to-high demand air setups. The filter also operates safely at temperatures up to 140°F.
Notes: This unit is equipped with a manual twist-style drain that rotates 360° for easy moisture release and maintenance. During initial setup or after being fully opened, the drain may require approximately 15–20 PSI of system pressure to properly seat and compress the sealing surface. Once it has been seated, the drain is designed to maintain a reliable seal and can continue to operate under lower system pressures as needed. In some cases, if the drain appears to be leaking right after installation, it is often due to it not yet being fully seated rather than a defect. A brief pressurization cycle is typically enough to properly set the seal and ensure normal operation
