The wall mount offset back plate hinge is designed for frameless shower door installations requiring controlled swing movement and defined mounting geometry. This hinge is manufactured from brass and finished in Polished Nickel. The hinge features a fixed wall mount offset back plate design and is supplied with the 90 degree side activated for standard installation use. Hinge is 4" Height, 2-5/16" width, and 4" backplate height, 2-1/8" backplate width and CTC distance between each two hole is 1-1/2". The hinge supports a full 90 degree inward and 90 degree outward swing, allowing practical access for shower door operation. A self-centering mechanism engages when the door reaches within 15 degrees of the closed position, guiding the glass panel back to its resting point. This closing action supports alignment consistency during daily use. The hinge is intended for use with monolithic tempered glass panels ranging from 3/8" to 1/2" thickness. When installed using two hinges, the system supports door weights up to 100 lbs. When three hinges are used, supported door weight increases to 130 lbs, based on approved glass thickness. Maximum door width capacity is 34" for 3/8" glass and 32" for 1/2" glass. Supplied gaskets and screws support proper glass spacing during installation. Thick gaskets are used for 3/8" glass, while thin gaskets are used for 1/2" glass. This hinge is suitable for corner, niche, bathtub, and tailor-made shower enclosure configurations.
