Maybe not colorfully painted, but this vintage cottonwood drum from Cochiti Pueblo was intended for personal use and not for the tourist trade. Painted black top, bottom and sides. Has seen a lot of use. Measures 7 inches in diameter and 7 3/4 inches tall. In good used condition with a split along the bottom edge you can see in the last two photos.
