Here’s a little extra tip: Tupperware experts recommend warming the seal slightly before first use (e.g. soaking in hot water). This softens the plastic and helps it "remember" its shape—making that press-in action easier and more reliable.

  2. With both thumbs directly over the center, press straight down firmly and evenly.

  3. The seal will stretch slightly and snap into place all around the edge.
