Vintage Hydro-Aire aircraft fuel selector valve assembly, Part No. 1288A3, Serial No. 1030, manufactured in Burbank, California. This is a substantial mid-century aviation fuel system component retaining its original Hydro-Aire identification plate, capped ports, safety wire, and accompanying FAA-era maintenance paperwork.
Included with the valve are original 1970 overhaul and repairable/service tags from Unipak Aviation Corporation, FAA Repair Station 3797. The overhaul certification is dated 4/30/70 and documents “overhaul and test,” while the attached repairable tag dated 2/17/70 notes the valve was considered repairable during inspection.
The valve is highly presentable with clean silver finish, intact identification markings, and original protective caps still installed on several ports. An outstanding piece of authentic aerospace fuel-system hardware from the golden age of aviation maintenance and overhaul operations.
