Rowland Hill Fawcett 1841-1914. His obituary states he passed the Staff College and joined the 33rd Duke of Wellington's Regiment at an early age, went through the Abyssinian campaign, and was present at the storming and capture of Magdala in 1868 under Lord Napier. Later he had special Staff duty in India, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1881. He died in Bath, Somerset in 1914.
