This cdv is from a collection of named photos enabling the sitter to be identified as Valentine Browne Sibson born 1845 to Matthew & Anne Sibson of Liverpool, England. He became a Merchant Seaman and is recorded as having died at sea in 1877 and Chudderghaut, Madras, India.
