Historische Vintage Gitarrenlaute XL – 12-saitig – ca. 1918–1920 – Restaurationsobjekt

Hallo Gitarrenfreunde,

zum Verkauf steht eine sehr große und seltene historische Vintage-Gitarrenlaute mit 12 Saiten, vermutlich aus der Region Euskirchen, der bekannten Musikstadt. Das Instrument stammt schätzungsweise aus den Jahren 1918–1920 und besitzt wunderschöne handgeschnitzte Verzierungen.

Es handelt sich vermutlich um eine deutsche Basslaute bzw. Wandervogellaute / Barocklauten-Replik aus dem frühen 20. Jahrhundert.

Zustand

Die Laute hat die Jahrzehnte leider nicht unbeschadet überstanden und benötigt eine vollständige Restaurierung. Sie wird daher ausdrücklich als Bastlerstück oder Sammlerobjekt verkauft.

Mehrere Risse an Vorder- und Rückseite

Teilweise bereits ältere Leimstellen vorhanden

Originalzustand mit altersbedingten Gebrauchsspuren

Gereinigt, aber nicht restauriert

Ich habe das Instrument selbst bereits in diesem Zustand erhalten und kenne mich mit Gitarrenbau oder Restaurierung nicht aus. Vielleicht kann ein erfahrener Gitarrenbauer oder Sammler dieses schöne historische Instrument wieder instand setzen.

Hello guitar enthusiasts,

For sale is a very rare and large historical vintage guitar lute with 12 strings, believed to originate from the Euskirchen region, once known as a famous music-making town in Germany. The instrument is estimated to date from around 1918–1920 and features beautiful handcrafted carvings.

It is most likely a German bass lute (Wandervogel lute / baroque lute replica) from the early 20th century.

Condition

Unfortunately, the instrument has not survived the decades without damage and requires a full restoration. Therefore, it is being sold strictly as a restoration project, collector’s item, or for parts.

Several cracks on the front and back

Some older repairs/glued cracks already present

Missing parts are included, as shown in the pictures

I received the instrument in this condition myself and I am not a guitar maker or restoration expert. Perhaps an experienced luthier or collector can bring this beautiful historical instrument back to life.
