This antique, art deco bar pin has an 18K rose gold base with a 10K white gold top. It weighs 2.9 dwt (4.5 grams) and measures 84.5mm in length and 5.55 mm wide at the center.  The pin comes with a 2004 appraisal for a replacement value of $780.

The center stone is an oval faceted synthetic sapphire that's approximately .74 carat.  There are also ten rose cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.005 to 0.015 carat each.  These are prong set in a set of four at each end of the bar pin.  Two of the diamonds are bezel set, flanking the center stone. There are also two square step cut synthetic sapphires weighing .05 to 0.6 carat each.  These are also bezel set.  The clasp works as it should.
