On June 23, 1969 Joe Frazier and Jerry Quarry fought for the World’s Heavyweight Championship at Madison Square Garden in New York. 

An epic battle in which Joe Frazier emerged victorious after referee Arthur Mercante stopped the bout after the 7^th of 15 rounds.  

George Foreman made his professional debut on the undercard.  

Presented here is an original, stubless ticket from the Closed Circuit Telecast shown at Pacific’s Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles.  

PSA has graded this stubless ticket EX 5.  Ring Magazine named this fight their Fight of the Year for 1969.
