Even after many years since its release, the "Les Paul Standard" continues to reign as a classic.
Among them, this Les Paul Standard '50s Double Trouble is a limited-production model that reproduces the specifications of around 1959. It's a gem of a guitar that revives the sound and look of the golden age of the Les Paul with modern precision.
The body has a traditional maple top and mahogany back construction.
It features excellent resonance transmission and thick sustain thanks to the set-neck construction. By eliminating the weight-relief structure used until recently, it achieves a vintage-like, robust, and dense tone emanating from a solid single piece of wood.
While possessing an acoustic resonance, it blends powerful bass and rich midrange, resulting in a truly authentic Les Paul sound.
The neck is a 50s Vintage C shape, scanned from an actual vintage instrument.
With a firm grip and modern smoothness, this guitar is comfortable even for players who grip it tightly.
The combination of a rosewood fingerboard and medium jumbo frets provides quick attack and rich harmonics from chords to leads.
The pickups are Burstbucker I & II (double cream, uncovered).
This set, a reproduction of the original PAF, effortlessly covers everything from sweet, lingering bluesy sounds to edgy rock tones.
Hand-wired wiring and Orange Drop capacitors ensure delicate and lustrous tone control.
The finish is all nitrocellulose lacquer.
