I bought both the Amplifier and the Harness as separate items on eBay with the intent to fix the amplifier, but got a great deal on a new one and decided to go for that instead of trying to fix this one.

The original seller said they bought it off someone who noted that it had "signal issues".

I looked inside, found that there was some wiring that did not look stock, and the gain encoder had been removed (did not fall or break off, was removed by desoldering). As far as I can tell, the board itself is fine, but not sure what the wires inside are doing. Probably not a project for a beginner, but probably a great project for an electrical engineer in the market for a weather-resistant amp or something to flip.

I cannot say for certain that the harness works as I never tried it, but it was listed as a genuine Alpine harness that was bought but never installed.

I paid ~$155 for both of these items (~$65 for the amp, ~$90 for the harness), but given the state of the amplifier and the harness being an unknown, I'm listing the combo for a bit lower.
