A set of five original Georgian documents dated 18 April 1801. They relate to the discharge of legacies bequeathed in a will by Henry Osborne, a Tanner of Benhall, Suffolk. The legacy was paid out by one of his sons, also named Henry Osborne, to his three uncles and two aunts. They all resided in Suffolk, with the uncles being Yeoman.

Each document consists of a four sided piece of paper, of which the middle two pages are blank. They each have embossed payments. The papers have a watermark which can be seen when held to the light.

The papers have some wear and age related marks. One has some staining (shown in the pictures). There are bends from being folded.

Thank you for looking.
