When paired with the LiftMaster 828LM Internet Gateway (sold separately), the 889LM-MC allows convenient smartphone monitoring and control through the myQ app. The control panel also includes advanced features such as Timer-to-Close, motion-activated garage lighting, and the Alert-2-Close warning system for added convenience and safety.

The 889LM-MC is compatible with select LiftMaster Security+ garage door openers featuring a purple learn button or an orange/red learn button with gray antenna wire. It also works with select compatible Chamberlain, Craftsman, Raynor, and AccessMaster garage door opener systems using Security+ technology.

This control panel is NOT compatible with Security+ 2.0 garage door openers.
