Detailed Condition Report

This display is fully functional but priced lower due to cosmetic imperfections. It is perfect for a budget repair where functionality matters more than a flawless exterior:

• LCD Screen: Fully working display. There are some light superficial surface scuffs and typical keyboard marks on the glass. No anti-reflective coating peeling (Staingate), and these marks are not visible when the screen is turned on and active.
• Aluminum Casing: One corner has a noticeable dent (please see listing photographs). This is entirely cosmetic and does not affect the LCD panel or the hinges. Additional minor scuffs on the outer lid.

• MacBook 12" Retina (Mid 2017): A1534 (EMC 3099)
• Note: This assembly is optimized for 2016-2017 models. It will NOT work correctly on a 2015 machine due to camera/flex variations.

Critical Installation Notice

You must completely disconnect the battery before plugging in this display cable. Connecting a screen assembly to a live logic board might immediately blow the fragile backlight fuse on the board, requiring micro soldering to repair.
