This listing is for the piece of Miocene age Colombian amber shown in the images. A nice specimen an insect as described in the listing title. Not recent resin, but collected nearly 40 years ago from beneath a volcanic ash layer. A microscope is essential to properly view these pieces. (The age is debated, but based on the hardness and the ash layer it was found associated with this is currently believed to be from the late Miocene or early Pliocene - it is, however, not the more common and softer copal that comes from Colombia).
