This is a vintage US Army hot weather field cap, more commonly referred to as the baseball hat. It is size 6 3/4. The DSA number is not dated, which I think puts it in the mid-1960's time frame.

The hat has been used, and the inside is discolored somewhat from sweat and dirt and there are a few faint whitish stains on the front underside, but the outside is very good with no stains and not rips or holes or snags. There are no odors.
