This is a small grouping of memorabilia from a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division in World War II. I have his name but no other information. The group consists of an 82nd Airborne Division shoulder patch, a Parachute Infantry cap patch, his collar insignia, pin-back ribbon bars (Good Conduct, American Campaign, ETO campaign, and WW II Victory), and a pin-back Marksmanship badge (which does not appear to be sterling). There is also his sterling pin-back jump wings with a Airborne Command oval, and his sterling clutch-back Combat Infantryman's Badge. There is also a small piece of cardboard with his initials that was in with the items.
The back of the long ribbon bar has a little corrosion but otherwise condition of the items is very good or better. There are no odors.
My goal is to liquidate my collection. I have other venues to do so besides eBay. If an item does not sell when listed, there is always the chance it won't be relisted because I sold it elsewhere.
Please ask questions early; I am not always on the computer. Please see my other items.
PLEASE READ - BIDDING OR BUYING MEANS YOU ACCEPT THESE POLICIES:
Sold as-is. Returns not accepted.
Payment for auctions is requested within 3 days.
I will estimate the weight and shipping charges are based on that weight. I accept bids from foreign countries but foreign sales will ONLY be shipped via EBay's Global Shipping Program. I have no idea what the charges are to your country because Ebay does all that. You would need to contact Ebay to see how much it would cost you. No, I will not ship anything outside of eBay's Global Shipping Program. No, I will not end an auction early because someone wants to turn it into a Buy It Now, and I do not accept offers if I have not listed the item as Best Offer.
PA residents will have to pay 6% sales tax.
I will leave you feedback after you have left feedback for me to let me know the item arrived and there are no problems.
