The new USA lineup, the Custom Color Series Les Paul Standard, has arrived.
Based on the popular '50s and '60s models, it features historical custom colors and recently popular limited edition colors.
It boasts classic '50s Les Paul specifications, including a two-piece maple top and solid mahogany back body, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, ABR-1 bridge, aluminum tailpiece, and gold top hat.
The rounded neck shape of the '50s profile contributes to a solid low-mid range.
The neck feels natural in the hand while providing a firm grip, offering overwhelming satisfaction, energetic power, and playability.
It is equipped with the highly popular Burstbucker 1 & 2 pickups.
These are meticulously crafted models that "faithfully reproduce" vintage P.A.F. pickups, using Alnico 2 magnets.
They are extremely clear, with excellent string separation and a beautiful balance from the low-mid range to the high frequencies, bringing out the maximum charm of the Les Paul. The front pickup features a Burstbucker 1 with reduced output, offering delicate touch, rich expressiveness, and a warm, smooth tone.
The rear Burstbucker 2 is a balanced pickup with slightly increased output, delivering a classic rock sound with sparkling, crisp highs, rich harmonics, quick response, and a wide range.
Further rolling off the tone knob produces a soulful, weeping woman tone.
This is the ultimate Les Paul, perfectly suited to all genres.
Other features include a hand-wired control circuit with Orange Drop capacitors and Kluson-type tuners, showcasing meticulous attention to detail.
