1880's fancy nickel-over-brass 10" kerosene oil shade holder. Excellent condition very well-made fancy brass shade holder with three sturdy riveted arms, with all three original tightening tabs intact. The shade holder has all 3 of the original fancy patented tabs stamped signed 'PAT'D AUG 4 88'. The ID of the center opening is approximately 2 3/4". Wonderful undamaged condition, the nickel in excellent condition. Often difficult to find high quality period Victorian kerosene oil 10" shade holder to complete your lamp.
