Original 1930/40s  Italian Brass Ashtray,Rare!!!

Vintage advertising ashtray in brass or from the historic Italian company Stock, originally used in bars and cafes.

It says “STOCK” at the top. It promotes “COGNAC MEDICINAL”, a flagship distillate of the company in the first decades of the twentieth century, often advertised for its alleged tonic properties.

In the center there is the coat of arms of the Royal House of Savoy, which indicates the status of Stock as an official supplier of the Italian Royal House. Style: The processed edges and the shaped square shape are typical of the Liberty or deco design of the first half of the twentieth century.
