A vintage bamboo and rattan stool with circular upholstered seat and decorative open lattice style frame. The floral upholstered top and curved bamboo supports give it a relaxed bohemian look, ideal for use as a foot stool, dressing table stool, plant stand, or conservatory seat.

Constructed from bamboo and rattan with a removable upholstered cushion seat. The circular frame features decorative curved supports and woven lattice underside. Likely mid to late 20th century in a tropical or conservatory style. Unsure of the exact age, but more than happy to help with any further questions.

Condition
In well used vintage condition.

Showing age and use with scratches, scuffs, marks, finish wear, and rubbing throughout the bamboo frame. Some splitting and cracking visible to bamboo sections and bindings, including an old repaired area to the upper rim. Upholstered cushion has general wear and some fading to the floral fabric as well as a musty smell, likely from being damp previously. General cosmetic wear throughout from age and use.

Structurally usable overall and displays well.

Would benefit from a good clean and is ideal for refinishing / reupholstery.
