FRONT SET:
VAG Part No. 1H0075112 Date Stamp 1999

Obsolete worldwide for over twenty years. This is probably one of the last remaining sets in the world as it's the set specifically for the GTI and VR6 models fitted with the factory plastic sports wheel arches. Rarer still to come with the original fixing clips which are in exceptionally clean and usable condition.

So if you have a VW Golf Mk3 GTI 8V or 16V including the Golf Colour Concept or Anniversary editions or a pre 96MY VR6 then this is that rocking horse dung set you need. Miss these and weep really as I've not seen a new old stock set advertised like forever and these I've got have been stored carefully in a dry attic so have seen less than a decade of use fitted to a car.
Incidentally the front flaps always had a black VW roundel not white.

In very smart condition, obviously some nicks and scrapes when scrutinizing up closely but seriously nice and the only demerit to note is one fixing clip is missing.

REAR SET:
VAG Part No. 1H6075101 Date Stamp 1997

These are not as rare as the GTI specific front set as these willl fit all Golf Mk3 models but they have been stored for the same period of time as the front set so the condition is matched, and they are the original type with the white VW roundels which are more distinctive and period correct than the later Votex batch which had all black roundels. No fixing clips needed for these as they just affix to the rear bumper using standard VAG T25 Torx screws or whatever self tappers you have.

As with the front set, yes there are minor nicks and bottom grazes, but no over spray or stains or chunks missing, and crucially no age damage or splitting to the plastic and all four flaps have the same say decade of patina and the bumper plastics and other addenda on your GTI won't be factory fresh either so these will tie in perfectly with the other trim.

Not only do mudflaps serve their practical purpose of blocking spray and mud from flicking up onto the sides and back of your vehicle but they also are an aesthetic enhancement as make the rear elevation look more solid and chunky and far less dated.

These parts have been carefully stored in a dark attic for two decades so likely to be in superior condition than similar parts being sold by other sellers.

Any pictures of my cars used in the listing are merely to illustrate the intended model. My father's Tornado Red VR6 had these same part number mudflaps fitted, I am very discerning and thought they looked very smart indeed.
