This listing is for a lot of equivalent computers. In addition to the specs above, all are guaranteed to have working ports, SATA cables + drive caddies, and onboard WiFi. Other details may vary.
Testing Process:
I use a two-pass QA process. Individual components are tested when they arrive, and the final assembled product is tested before shipping.
- Whole system, as assembled, undergoes the Lenovo full-unattended suite of self-check tests, including CPU, Motherboard, Storage, and RAM.
- RAM undergoes memtest86 4-pass verification.
- All physical ports are tested for basic function.
- Wifi is tested for basic function.
- Whole system is tested end-to-end with an operating system (either the one it ships with, or one loaded from USB).
PCIe Expansion:
These machines include a PCIe slot. The slot requires a proprietary adapter (check my store for versions of this machine sold WITH the adapter!) and fits a single-slot, low-profile device, such as an Intel Arc a310 GPU or an LSI HBA. However, the PCIe slot competes with the SATA drive caddy, which this model ships with. If you're looking to use the m720q for the PCIe slot, please consider my other listing on my eBay store page.
