You will receive two ROOTED cactus pads (on one root, please see the pictures.) This is Opuntia echios var gigantea from the Galapagos Islands. Specifically, this species ONLY grows natively on Santa Cruz Island. These are a large growing, very tall "Tree" type Opuntia, and will reach about 20' to 25' tall! If you want to keep them smaller, just keep them in smaller pots, and they will become root bound, and stop growing taller. Note that although this is the "Gigantea" variety, these are smaller pads, because they are NOT mature yet. This plant is 12" tall, and shown in a gallon pot, but will be shipped bare root.
