This lovely vintage quilt features a a variation on a Double Wedding Ring patchwork pattern. The rings are off set creating a fan or chain effect.

The Double Wedding Ring quilt was often used as a traditional gift for weddings or anniversaries.

Shabby Chic / Cottage Garden vibe utilizing a mix of mauve, pink, and sage green floral prints on a white background. The back is solid off white cotton. The fill is 100% cotton. Fairly thin quilt that is suitable all year round.

The quilt has a scalloped border.

There are no tags, so the origin is a bit of a mystery. It is hand quilted and machine pieced. There are some seams that have been repaired. There are a couple stains on the reverse side. The colors are very subtle with a faded shabby chic appearance. It fits a full to queen size bed measuring 81” x 87”
