The PSB Alpha A/V Loudspeaker Pair is a set of black bookshelf speakers made of wood, featuring a rectangular shape and a 2.0 channel system configuration. With a universal compatibility and 8 Ohms impedance, these wired speakers from PSB offer a classic design for any home audio setup. The passive design and banana jack audio inputs make them easy to connect and enjoy high-quality stereo sound. Whether for a studio or a living space, this pair of speakers delivers a reliable and sleek audio experience.

PSB's designer describes the Alpha AV as the drive-units acquired magnetic shielding so that the speaker could be used in home-theater systems, the ferrofluid-cooled tweeter was replaced with a more refined unit, the electrical connection is now via proper five-way binding posts, and the cabinet's covering can now be had in a "dark cherry" vinyl as well as black. The six-element crossover is mounted on a circuit board behind the binding posts, but the black grillecloth is still not removable.
