You are purchasing a vintage 1990s USA made black Midnight lava lamp with yellow liquid and red lava wax. It is in good to very good condition, see all photos. It has a very good snakey flow with dark red lava; it is very reminiscent of a 1970s Century lava lamp flow. Please note there is a small dent on the top half of the base in the back, see photos 15 & 16; it is not noticeable from the front. There is a very small paint chip in the front of the base, see photos 10 & 11. Also note that the metal black cap is bent on one side with a paint chip as well, see photos 19 & 20. That all said, it displays very well. Lastly note the bottle has been recapped as the liquid had been a little cloudy so I filtered it. The liquid and wax are all original. The original bottle cap is in included and shows this as a "02" bottle, see last photo. The cap codes are faded but it appears that the bottle was made in 1996, again see last photo. It is approximately 16 1/4" tall x 4 1/8" diameter base. It is a 32 oz bottle which is the same size bottle used in both the Silver Streak, gold Enchantress and white Princess series lava lamps. A light bulb is included.

NOTE: Once unpacked please allow the bottle to reach room temperature before turning on. If cloudy you may need to either cycle the lamp on and off for a few days/weeks or use a non carbon water filter to restore the clarity. Never shake the bottle while warm.
