This 19th Century oil on canvas painting of a young girl studying art is a great collectors piece.

The large framed painting measures 95cm x 84cm, making it a striking addition to any art collection.

Painted in oil on stretched canvas, this is typical of the 18th century showing a young girl studying an art folio, with pairings also in the background.

A good addition for those who appreciate Portraits from the period,. This painting is impressive.

An artist signature cannot be seen, though may come to light if the canvas were to be cleaned.

There is a small amount of repaired damage to the left of the surface, which has been photographed.

One of the labels verso shows the painting to have been sold through Frost and Read on 1957
