This striking  Solaris Torte or Cake Plate was designed by Tapio Wirkkala for Iittala, Finland. The Solaris pattern features concentric rings created by a mold during the pressing process, resulting in a design that has alternating textured and smooth lines that catch the light.

It measures approximately 13.75" in diameter and is in good condition. No cracks or chips, but there is moderate scratching from use noted.
