Charming vintage Goebel duck or duckling figurine made in West Germany and dated 1972 on the underside.

This adorable little duck features warm yellow and amber-brown hand shaded coloring with a glossy glaze and a sweet resting pose. The compact size makes it perfect for:

The underside retains the blue Goebel W. Germany mark along with the impressed 1972 date.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition overall. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. The glaze remains bright and clean with attractive color saturation. There is some fine age-related crazing visible upon close inspection, which is common in vintage glazed ceramics and does not detract from the display quality in my opinion.

The figurine displays beautifully from all angles and has a warm, cheerful Mid-Century era look.
