This cookie press set (Mirro calls it a Cooky and Pastry Press on the box) was my mother's and it still smells likes cookies and vanilla when you open the box! She made Christmas spritz cookies (among other things) with it for over 50 years.
My mother either purchased or was gifted this set in the 50's. The set includes the press, 13 forming plates as they are referred to on the box, a rack for the plates and a recipe book. The press still works beautifully. The box is a bit battered, but that is to be expected for a cardboard box that is over 70 years old. The parts of the box top that have torn off are in the bottom of the box for anyone who cares to put it back together.
The press and plates are "the finest aluminum", made in the USA. They should continue to work well for another 60 or 70 years.
