Vertical Full-Automatic Air Release Valve
Vertically installed at the highest point of the pipeline end system!
Valve body material: Aluminum
Floating ball material: Stainless steel
Nominal pressure: 170 Psi
Operation temperature: ≤ 120℃ (248℉)
I. Application Scope
Automatic air release valve: Widely used in HVAC engineering, hot water engineering, fire protection engineering, floor heating, air conditioning pressure vessels. It automatically discharges gas, prevents water overflow, and ensures pipeline safety.
II. Technical Specifications
Nominal pressure: 175 Psi
Working medium: Clean water, non-corrosive gases and liquids
Working temperature: 14°F≤ T ≤ 250°F (−10℃≤T≤120℃)
III. Pre-Installation Inspection
1, Check if the valve is damaged during transportation, and if accessories, cold air doors, or screws are loose.
2,Verify that the operating range and technical specifications are appropriate.
3,Before installation, shake or flip the valve up and down several times to confirm that the float ball functions properly.
IV. Installation and Usage
1, The air release valve must be installed vertically at the highest point of the pipeline system, with an allowable installation angle of ±2°.
2, Please do not install this air release valve in the bedroom, living room or office. It should be installed in the kitchen, bathroom or outdoors. If the outdoor temperature is below 0℃, an electric heating tape should be added to the exhaust valve.
3, Use an open-end wrench to tighten the joints during installation. Install a filter and a gate valve in front of the exhaust valve pipeline for easy inspection and maintenance.
4, Do not disassemble or adjust the air release valve on your own during installation and use. This product has been tested and adjusted before leaving the factory.
5, A guide pipe must be installed at the exhaust port on the air release valve, leading to a drainage point, to prevent scalding from hot steam or water.
6, The vertical/horizontal dual-purpose square air release valve is installed using the bottom hole. If the side hole is used for installation, the bottom hole must be connected to the return water pipeline to keep the water in the pipeline flowing.
7, The air release valve must be inspected before each heating season. If water leakage occurs, scale and impurities inside the valve should be removed promptly. Keep the interior of the valve clean to ensure the plug can move up and down unobstructed.
