Up for your consideration is a Waterford of Ireland 8 inch fruit or salad bowl in the famous Alana pattern - with the all-over cut cross hatch pattern. Waterford made this pattern from 1952 to 2022. 

The bowl stands 4 inches tall, measures 8 inches across the top, and weighs 4 pounds, 5 1/4 ounces.

The bottom is acid etched with the Waterford name (see the next to last photos).

The bowl is in very good, pre-owned condition, with no cracks. There is a small flake or chip on the outside rim. It is hard to see, but I have photographed it in the last pictures.
