Please note that this is a dark black bird - my photos look washed out. The signature ERNESTINA A. Has me confused. Another seller has it listed as a Mexican sculpture - or a whistle. I found an artist from Ghana named Ernestina Asante and wonder if she is the maker of this piece. It never mattered to me because I simply love it. I thought it was a pie bird - only 2 holes in the bird. Again, does not matter - it is a special work of art that looks great and takes up little space. Bird stands 4.5 inches tall and measures 5 inches from beak to end of tail. Time for somebody else to enjoy it.
