A Collection of 8 hand carved Malachite Eggs of Various Sizes

These have been hand crafted rather than machine worked and thus they are not perfect egg shapes. There are some small scratches and marks on one or two eggs – see photos – and they would benefit from a polish.

 

The largest egg weighs 138 gm and is 52mm x 35 mm (max length & width). The size of the other eggs can be gauged by looking at the photos.

 

Total weight of the 8 eggs is 405 gm.

 

I have tried to capture the main patterns and shapes of the eggs with the photos but if you need further detail or photos please ask.
