- Reed & Barton
silver plate serving dish in a very mid-century modern clean oval flaired design.
- The “canoe” bowl is in
shiny silver plate with rounded sides and pointy ends. Flat bottom. There are
several small patina areas for the next owner to polish up, if desired.
- The dish measures 8-1/2
inches in length to the pointy ends x 6-1/8 inches across at the rounded sides.
It measures 2-1/4 inches in height to the pointy ends.
- Marked on the bottom:
Reed & Barton 252 with an A in a C. Research shows this to be from 1945 but
we are not experts on Reed & Barton markings.
- Very nice gently-used
condition with no dings or dents. Age-related scratches.
- There are lots of
reflections in the photos – hard to avoid on this shiny piece.
- Weighs just over 11
ounces.
