MIGUEL CABRERA TRIPLE CROWN AWARD
Offered for sale is a rare 2012 Major League Baseball Miguel Cabrera Triple Crown award display
piece created in connection with Cabrera's historic Triple Crown season with the Detroit Tigers.
According to the original production background of the piece, this display was produced as
a backup presentation/display award in the event Miguel Cabrera chose not to wear the
ceremonial Triple Crown crown presentation piece. The award was never publicly presented
or used and has remained in private hands since production. Features an engraved center
medallion with MLB branding and Triple Crown graphics recognizing Cabrera?s 2012 achievement in:
Measures approximately 13.5 inches in diameter. Condition is very good overall with
light handling/storage wear consistent with age. There is one small dark spot/imperfection
in the metal finish, shown clearly in the photographs for accuracy. An unusual and highly
displayable piece connected to one of baseball?s modern historic achievements.
