No chips or crazing. Plus-shaped crack near center. These fine cracks do not appear to extend beyond the cup indentation but are faintly visible on front and back. Saucer measures approx 6" in diameter. Photos are of the actual item for sale.
This saucer is best suited for decorative use, display, or repurposing rather than as a replacement piece for an active dinnerware set, since it has a plus-shaped crack in the center. It still has visual appeal, with an ivory background, pink floral and green scroll design, and metallic gold trim from a historical Bohemian manufacturer . The saucer could be used under a small candle, as part of a vintage vignette, on a plate wall, in a china cabinet, or as a base for a teacup planter or jewelry dish. From Haas & Czjzek
The beginning of the Haas & Czjzek porcelain dates back to 1792 when the first porcelain factory in Bohemia was founded by Johann Georg Paulus. In 1812, the factory was entitled to manufacture porcelain and after circa 55 years (1867) Georg Haas and Johann Czjzek took over the company. Thus, the Haas & Czjzek brand saw the light of day. The company followed the traditions and techniques and rose to fame all around the world. The factory closed in 2011.
