Middle Eastern brass gun powder flask decorated with typical geometric patterns, unusually with original leather tassels still displaying remnants of stitched and tooled decorations. A wonderfully interesting artefact probably North African, Moroccan in origin, of the style used by the desert tribes of the region in the 19th Century.

In fair antique condition, brass flask in good condition with expected signs of age and wear of a well used antique piece, missing the end cap,  leather is in frail condition with losses and breakages, please refer to detailed photos provided.

Approximately 26cm long, tassels are 50cm long, overall weight 550g.
