The 1950’s Cosmopolitan Ginger doll was produced as a direct competitor to the popular Vogue Ginny.

This walker doll is 7.5 inches and the walking component is in working order. All hard plastic, limbs sturdy and attached. Sleepy eyes are a bit sticky but can manually be opened and shut. Molded eyelashes. No markings, but can be identified by ring around wrists and the fraying label in her original pink dress that reads “Fashions for Ginger, Cosmopolitan Doll & Toy, Jackson Heights.” Dress is two pieces, with an underskirt. Snap closures. One small tear and stain on bottom hem as highlighted in photo.
