This Kyosho DST was taken on by myself and my two boys as a project, but with a very busy life I don't have the time to invest in restoring it. You can see the photos of when we received the car, vs some of the work we started doing tidying it up. We're not at a point yet where it runs, as we haven't yet cleaned out the carb. It seems to have good compression on pull and I believe it would run given a bit of TLC and someone with more knowledge of Nitro cars. It was just fitted with a NOS air filter from japan, along with a new glow plug plus comes with a glow plug tool and some fuel (fuel is probably collection only).
The current photos of the car are the ones on the colourful table cloth - it is in pieces, but all screws and fittings are present and fitted pack into the car in their correct places where possible. This car has been sat in an attic for 10+ years, and last apparently had fairly fast head on crash, bending one of the drive shafts and a pin that held on the front "bumper". The drive shaft and bumper have been straightened out as much as I can manage without a vice, so it all fits and moves ok (no idea if the drive shaft would cause vibration at speed or not!?), but the very front bumper is missing, as is the body. As far as I can tell, those are the only missing pieces. Listings for such are here:
