💡 Why We Ship Them Green (Important Information)
Our Red Root Floaters are shipped green, not red.
Plants grown under intense light turn red, but red leaves often suffer melt and die-back when moved into lower light during shipping or when introduced to a new aquarium.
Green-grown plants are:
✔ Stronger and more stable
✔ Better at adapting to new tank conditions
✔ Much less likely to experience die-off
Once established, simply increase lighting and they will naturally turn red.
Green adapts up. Red struggles adapting down.
