This is a rare Carl Zeiss Jena Anastigmat Serie VIIa "Convertible" lens, later known as the legendary Protar.

When combined, it functions as a fast f/7 (1:7) Doppel Protar. 
The lens offers three different focal lengths: 179mm, 285mm and 356mm. 

The lens features an original Stolze aperture scale with markings 3, 4, 6, 8.5, 12, 17, 24, and 28. 
The barrel includes a built-in focusing mount with a clear distance scale from 2 meters to Infinity (∞). 
All engravings are perfectly legible and well-preserved. 

The mechanics are fully functional, and the iris diaphragm works as intended. 
The optics are in excellent condition for their age, no scratches, no fungus, or separation.
