This is a nice running 18 size Classic railroad watch signed Hamilton Watch Co,
The movement is clean, no scratches or rust Serial # is 684112 dating it to1910 , The Ledgers show 20 of these watches being finished for him and the finishing date is 9-19-1910. It is lever set. The Movement is special order from one of Hamilton Largest agents, John Luckenback, Los Angles. finished in Gilt trim, The regulator spring & arm and the case screws are all done in the gilt trim color.
The Damaskeen pattern is what is special about this watch , It is in a Sunburst Rayed pattern and these special patterns were done for the Largest agents. This movement is eye candy for sure.
The dial is a near Perfect Hamilton enamel Double Sunk model, with a Rare signature of Hamilton in script and an fancy "L" under the signature. It has Red Minutes markers every 5 Minutes, I have gone over it with loupe and can't find any problems. It is made to look Bolder with the Blue Hands and Factory second hand.
It is in a Special case for this special watch. The Case is a Fahy's Oresilver Model that lifts out of the outer case, It has a square pendant that fits into the case opening. The middle case has a rim and a back hinged cover. Case is stamped 4 for the weight. The bow & crown are in new condition. The entire case is in above average condition
