Vintage Kmart-branded twin bell alarm clock featuring a West German mechanical wind-up movement. This example dates to the late 1960s to early 1970s during the height of the pop art and mid-century modern decor movement.
The bold black dial with bright orange numerals, cream enamel metal case, and red twin bells give it that unmistakable mod / atomic-era look. These were produced in West Germany for export and retailed under the Kmart name in the United States.
This is a mechanical wind-up clock with separate winders for time and alarm. The clock mechanism is running. The alarm does not appear to function and may require adjustment or servicing.
A great decorative and functional piece for retro kitchens, mid-century interiors, or vintage clock collections.
Approximate size:
4” tall x 3” wide

Marked “Germany” on back indicating West German production.
