A very nice vintage Japanese Butterfly setup with attractive layered wood handle construction and original accessories. Older Japanese-made Butterfly paddles and accessories have become increasingly collectible, especially cleaner examples with original cases and early markings.

Condition:

Pre-owned vintage condition with signs of normal prior use and age. Paddle has some wear around the cork and wood handle edges/corners as shown in the photos, including small chips, impressions, and finish wear from use. Rubber remains attached and presents well overall with light age/use wear visible. The wooden protective cover shows normal cosmetic wear from age and storage.

The original Butterfly zippered case is in very good overall condition. Exterior graphics and printing remain clean and attractive. Interior is clean. Zipper functions properly. There are a few light scuffs and small areas of dirt/wear from storage and age, but overall the case presents very nicely.
