Beautiful solid 1969 C10 Survivor. Garage kept in the deep south it's entire life. Odometer reads 16,394 miles and the previous owner swears it has only rolled over once. The previous owner stated he was only the 3rd owner; all from the same family. I bought it from him with the intention of keeping it as my forever truck.
I installed new seat belts. I also went through the brakes, painted the drums, installed the chrome power brake unit, cleaned up the front suspension, and the engine compartment. Truck has power steering. I installed new valve covers, air filter, stainless steel braided hoses, spark plug wires, and new belts. I removed the gas tank and flushed it out and installed a new pickup/filter/sending unit. It reads accurately. Also had the Quadrajet carburetor rebuilt with a carb kit from The Carb Doctor.
Engine is a very strong 350 C.I. with the coveted casting # 3970010. Previous owner said it is a four-bolt main that was rebuilt in 2018 with very few miles since then. With the headers and dual exhaust is sounds awesome. Transmission is a TH400 that shifts perfectly. Rear end is a GM 12-bolt. I am not sure what the gears are, but the rpm is about 2600 @ 70mph. Easily squeals the tires from a dead stop.
This truck runs and drives excellent with tons of power. All lights and gauges work as they should. Glass and mirrors are excellent. No cracks or pings. The frame and body are solid. There is no significant rust anywhere on this truck. Only a couple very minor spots on the bottom of the doors that you won't see unless you get down and try and find them.
The fan motor was tested with a 12v battery and runs fine, but is not currently connected to the switch assembly. It was that way when I bought it, and I am not sure how to connect it. The wires are there. The passenger window does not roll all the way down. I am not sure why, but I have not had time to try and fix it.
The paint is not perfect but is what most would describe as a 10-footer.
The tires are like new but the previous owner almost never drove the truck so they developed flat spots. The truck was mostly used to attend the annual "Cruisin' The Coast" event each October in Gulfport, Ms. It was kinda bumpy when I first bought it, but the more I have driven it, the smoother the ride is getting. I believe with a few hundred miles they will be fine. I had them balanced and the truck cruises down the highway at 70mph with no problem.
It was my intention to install "Vintage" air conditioning and disc brakes, but those will have to be projects for the next guy or gal.
I also have a new body bushing kit that I have not yet installed.
This truck gets compliments every where I have taken it.
Compared to the other C10's on EBay, I believe this truck is a steal at the "Buy It Now" price.
It would be very difficult to find a better '69 C10 without spending many, many thousands more.

Again, I honestly intended it to be my forever truck.
The only reason we are selling it is because my wife and I are buying our ultimate dream home, and we need to liquidate some assets to make it possible.
So here's your chance to grab a great truck at a great price.

I reserve the right to end the auction at any time as the truck is also for sale locally.
Shown by appointment only.
I strongly recommend seeing it in person and taking it for a drive to fully appreciate it.
I will be glad to answer any questions.
