Vintage Tobacco Tin & Smoking Collectables Group Players Drimney Dunhill

Vintage group of smoking and tobacco-related collectables, including an empty Player’s Navy Cut medium 50 tin by John Player & Sons Nottingham, an empty Drimney’s Mentholyptus tobacco snuff tin, a Dunigan’s Waterproof Wax Vestas tin, a Gainsborough medium fine cut tobacco cigarette paper packet, and a Blue Cross safety match box. A good decorative lot for a tobacconist, pub, barbershop, man cave, shop display, prop use or advertising packaging collection. The Player’s tin has particularly good colour and nautical artwork, with strong display appeal despite age-related wear.

Condition
Used vintage condition. All tins are empty. The Player’s Navy Cut tin has surface wear, rust spotting, paint loss to the lid and rim, age marks and general handling wear. The Drimney’s tin and Dunigan’s wax vestas tin show heavier oxidation, rubbing and patina. The paper/card packets have age-related wear, rubbing, edge wear and discolouration.
