This is a handmade haversack style bag.  The outer shell and the strap are hemp linen, with old grain sack fabric used for the liner. 

 The body of the bag is approximately 10.25" x 14", with a 1.5" wide strap.  The buckle end of the strap is 14.75" from the top of the leather tab attaching it to the bag to the center bar of the buckle.  The adjustable end of the strap is 48" from the top of the leather tab on the back to its tip.  There are six holes, each spaced one in apart for adjustment.  The bag is made for a right side carry.  

All sewing on the bag and the strap was done with waxed linen thread.  The two buttons for the closure are fixed shank, bronze toned.
